We welcome all children as an important part of God’s family, building a foundation of faith that lasts forever
The children meet most Sundays at the 10:30am service where they discover and explore the love and peace of Jesus. We really value the younger members of our Church family and want them to have fun, make friends and learn together.
Junior Church Younger Group
This group is for the youngest children, who are accompanied by a parent, plus school age children up to age 6 whose parents return to the church service after bringing their children to the large centre room in Charis. The session is short, appropriate to their young age, with singing, a story and something to colour or make on the theme of the session. They generally return to church together with their leaders before the service ends.
Junior Church Older Group
This group is for children in Key Stage 2 in primary school and they meet in the room nearest the kitchen. There is a mix of teaching and fun activities as the children find out more about God’s world and explore together what Jesus’ love means for each of us.
